![]() ![]() The most popular Civ 6 mod of all time (at the time of writing), despite Civilization 6 firmly overtaking Civ 5 in terms of player numbers, it seems. I seem to recall once seeing a button inside the "Additional Content" display of the game asking me to click on it to update a subscribed mod, but that was the only instance it ever happened. Environment Skin: Sid Meier’s Civilization V. ![]() My specific concern is not being able to tell whether my subscribed mods are being updated to the latest versions. In-game, 2 mods are downloaded and can be enabled 2 mods show as fully transferred (the green download bar is filled), but they aren't on the list to be activated and the last two mods have an 'update' button but it does nothing, they just don't download. I subscribed to 6 mods, they all show on Steam as subscribed. To do so, click Additional Content on the games main menu followed by Mods, then scroll down through your list of additional content, click on DLC: Julius. For the Workshop subscribed mods, it's been more difficult, since the mods listed there don't display version number info like they did with Civ 5. I'm having trouble with the workshop for civ VI. Although I am still using a few Civ 6 mods that were manually downloaded and placed in my Mods folder, most of the Mods I'm currently using are those I've subscribed to via the Steam Workshop.įor my manually downloaded/installed mods, it's been relatively easy for me to keep track of which particular version of each mod I'm using (I keep track via a simple spreadsheet).
